Pretty Sorted

A Woman’s Guide to Financial Freedom

One chapter at a time. One move a week. Until you are pretty sorted.

This book feels like a candid conversation with a friend who’s got both your back and your balance sheet. ANKUR WARIKOO

Money runs most of life, yet no one teaches women how to run money

Most money advice written for women either talks down to you or assumes you already speak the language. This does neither. It is a plain-English guide from a Chartered Accountant, built around the lives of women you will recognise.

Every chapter ends with one move.

Something you can do this week. Free, and under twenty minutes. By the last page you have not only read about your finances, you have handled them.

What readers are saying

Readers have been leaving reviews on Amazon. You can read them here.

Money questions Indian women actually ask

Twenty of them, answered in plain English with real numbers. Emergency funds, credit scores, the old and new tax regimes, career breaks, wills, and what a career break really costs. Each one ends with a single thing you can do this week.

About Drashti

Drashti Shah is a Chartered Accountant, a lawyer, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business. Over ten years she has worked across taxation, audit, financial planning, consulting and start-ups, and now works at a leading bank where finance meets technology.

She wrote Pretty Sorted because she kept having the same conversation with the women around her. Educated, good job, entirely capable, and still not confident about managing their own hard-earned money.

It is the book she would give her own sisters and friends.
